Myrtle Beach Weather
Myrtle Beach, SC is a unique resort town, offering a wide variety of fun and entertainment, it is a vacation locale that appeals to men, women and children of all ages, and a big bonus is the warm southern climate.
A 60-mile stretch of beautiful beaches make up the popular “Grand Strand”, which welcomes millions of families, golfers, students and snowbirds every year to enjoy; pristine beaches with pure white powdery sand, championship golf courses, spectacular live entertainment and world class dining.
In the event of adverse weather conditions or mild temperatures, (which seldom tend to last), there is always an indoor activity or attraction that will more than make up for the loss of your outdoor plans.
If however you are scheduled to play golf on a day that it rains most of the area courses have a similar policy. Myrtle Beach golf courses all have a “no show” policy which means they will not issue a refund if you do not show up at the course unless the course is closed. If the course is still open for play and there is inclement weather in the area the course might be willing to issue your group “rain checks” which would typically be valid for at least 1 year. Myrtle Beach Golfaway would recommend that you talk to your Golf Director if you have any questions or concerns about specific course policies.
