House of Blues Myrtle Beach

attractions-houseofbluesConveniently located in North Myrtle Beach, SC is the ever popular House of Blues. The HOB is the home of live music and southern-inspired cuisine and is set in an environment celebrating the African American cultural contributions of blues music and folk art. In 1992, the company converted a historical house in Cambridge, Massachusetts into the original House of Blues®. The original House of Blues opened its doors on Thanksgiving Day in 1992, feeding the homeless before opening to the public and their commitment to serving the community will always be a top priority.

In their Music Halls you will find almost every music genre imaginable including: Rock n’ Roll, Punk, Alternative, Heavy Metal, Rap, Country, Hip-Hop, Rhythm and Blues, Rock en Español, Jazz, Zydeco, Folk, Electronica and many more.

From large amphitheatres and arenas to small clubs, the House of Blues and their staff have won many awards including: Best Outdoor Venue, Theatre of the Year, Arena/Auditorium of the Year, Best Large Outdoor Concert Venue, and Best Live Music Club of the Year and Talent Buyer of the Year.

Their passion for the South has guided the creation of their distinct and unique menu. Chefs have developed artistic adaptations of traditional southern favorites such as the spicy Creole Jambalaya and delicious BBQ Baby back Ribs that just fall off the bone, while creating dishes like Pan Seared Voodoo shrimp and Seared Ahi Tuna Salad. Great pride is taken in cooking with the freshest ingredients and served with good old soulful southern hospitality.

The North Myrtle Beach attraction also offers the award winning House of Blues Sunday Gospel Brunch, a one-of-a-kind celebration that will nourish the body and soul. Featuring inspiring live gospel performances from local and regional artists to acclaimed gospel musicians, HOB makes the cultural and musical treasures of gospel available to all. Replenish at the House of Blues Gospel Brunch!

The HOB walls are truly unique, decorated with American folk art; they are affectionately referred to as the visual blues. With over a thousand original pieces of folk art, HOB proudly houses one of the largest publicly displayed folk art collections in the country.

Whether you are going to see your favorite artist or just stopping in for a bite to eat, the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach easily lives up to its outstanding reputation and is well worth the visit.
