Myrtle Beach Golfaway

Long Bay Club

Long Bay Golf Club has earned a reputation as being one of the toughest golf courses in Myrtle Beach. Built in 1998 by Jack Nicklaus, most of Long Bay’s difficulty is found on the undulated putting surfaces, these greens feature multiple tiers, collection areas and strategically placed bunkers, placing an emphasis on club selection.

The par four tenth has become the course’s signature hole, a giant waste bunker wraps around the entire fairway and leaves one with an approach shot to an elevated green that is hard to hit and hold. Water is in play on each par three, most notably the thirteenth, this little beauty (156 yards from the tips) features an island-green and will certainly test your mettle.
